Jumoke Jagun - Dokunmu

Regional Director for Eastern Africa, IFC

Mrs. Jumoke Jagun-Dokunmu is IFC’s Regional Director for Eastern Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya. In that role Jumoke leads the implementation of IFC’s strategy in the sub-region and manages key relationships with clients, partners, government officials, and across the World Bank Group. She focuses on proactively creating, expanding and deepening markets, especially in low income countries and in fragile and conflict situations. She is the IFC anchor for regional integration in Africa. Jumoke has more than 25 years of experience working with governments, clients, and partners to stimulate private sector led growth of developing economies through Public Private Partnerships in infrastructure, and the structuring and financing of private sector projects. Prior to IFC, Jumoke worked in the Nigerian banking sector providing corporate banking services to corporate clients, mainly in the beverages, fast moving consumer goods, and tire sectors. She holds an MBA from the London Business School and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
