Emily Kinuthia

Vision Board Coach, Brand Consultant, Marketer

I am a change catalyst, passionate about equipping individuals and businesses alike to attain their full potential through a vision boarding coaching approach.

I help bring a sense of self awareness, clarity, direction and purpose to my clients so that they can be intentional in achieving their goals and living their best life.  I believe potential is what you could be, that it exists within you to be nurtured into reality.

I create content about Vision boarding to drive awareness and education on the value of intentional living, as well as offer vision board training and workshops for individuals and groups.

I am also in the art and business of building brands.  I understand, create, change, build, articulate, influence, and grow businesses through driving strategic brand building, aimed at delivering ROI for businesses in today’s complex market place.

I have over 14 years of marketing, brand building and communication experience having worked in the advertising industry, managing multinational brands across Africa, as well as driving marketing for leading brands in the financial and technology sectors.

As a Brand Consultant, I have run workshops on brand building and brand repositioning for brands like VIVO active wear, a leading Kenyan clothes brand.  I led their team in brand workshops and engagements aimed at defining the brand proposition, brand purpose and developed their brand architecture.  This in turn helped define strategic engagements and delivered brand growth.

As an Entrepreneur, I am a Co-founder and Director of Hair Expo, an engaging platform, within the Hair and Beauty segment, that I created and successfully launched into the market in 2014, a first of its kind in the Kenyan market.  Hair expo is a forum where Kenyans with an interest in the hair and beauty industry converge with the aim of raising standards, recognizing, awarding and inspiring excellence in the hair and beauty industry.

As a marketing expert, I have played strategic roles in driving marketing engagements for Twakutukuza trust, a not-for-profit Cancer Trust that raises funds to support cancer patients with financial, medical and social needs.  My efforts have seen Twakutukuza exceed their fund raising targets year on year.

I also play a strategic role in different engagements for Kingdom business solutions (KBS).  KBS is an organization which equips marketplace leaders to engage the culture of the day in the marketplace and transform it into a kingdom culture, through training and organizing forums and networks. Here I have been a trainer, speaker and offered strategic input in deploying various events and forums.

I am a holder of a B.A. in Communication and Business Administration from Daystar University. I have been awarded a certificate in Managerial Development, from Gordon Institute of Business Science, Johannesburg.

I am currently pursuing an MBA at ALU School of business and the holder of the prestigious ALUSB Chairman’s Scholar Award for 2020, for Excellence in Business Leadership.
